Wedding photojournalism is Kristin's area of expertise as a photographer based in New Orleans; she primarily shoots events in the city. Since 2006, she has worked as a professional photographer, during which time she has covered more than 500 weddings and continues to do so. She attended Louisiana State University, but it wasn't until after she finished school that she realized photography was something she was both passionate about and talented at. She is willing to take bookings in New Orleans and beyond, and she particularly encourages and welcomes inquiries regarding destination and international weddings. Her previous customers will attest to the fact that Kristin just has this way of making you feel as though you have known her for years, and the fact that she is able to make her clients feel at ease in front of the camera is a real talent of hers. In her own words: "There is something so humbling about capturing the raw emotions of your special day in a still photograph in the hopes that it will elicit those same emotions every time you look at it. I have no doubt that this career chose me and I hope it continues to 'keep me where the light is."
