Labaratory by Scarlette was born from my desire to take spirits to a higher level© in every sense of the phrase. There are infinite opportunities to see and create magic in this life, and events are a wonderful arena to make that enchantment happen. What some might see as the basics for a bar, such as ice, liquor, glassware, garnish, I see as vehicles to transcend the banal into something glorious. My process is to immerse myself into the particulars and explore how Labaratory by Scarlette can help tell their story in a glass. I thrive on collaboration and am so inspired when I hear about my client’s vision for their event. I seriously can’t get enough of the details, it’s like a drug to me! Their event theme is the guide to all my ideas and innovations and it leads the way, always. Before each event, I like to remind myself of “why we are here, at this time, for this occasion”. The answer is always the same simple truth - to connect. Creating that connection is vital to me - the relationship with my client; the relationship between form and function; the relationship between process and execution. The possibilities for connection are limitless and that drives me each and every time Labaratory by Scarlette is brought onto a new project. I take enormous pride in the fact that Labaratory by Scarlette is a successful, female-owned business in a male-dominated field. I revel in the unique perspective I bring to the bar as a woman - I follow my own voice.
