“My passion for photographing weddings stems from a deep love of storytelling and a desire to capture emotional moments in my images, ones that will not only remind you of how you looked on your wedding day, but more importantly, how you felt. My whole career has been about storytelling. In college, I studied both acting and photography and spent the first 15 years of my career in New York and Los Angeles pursuing the former. But my passion for the photography never waned, and I continued to document anything and everything whenever I had the chance. In 2000, several of my good friends got engaged and I complemented their wedding photographers by bringing my film cameras and adding black and white, documentary style photos to their collection of images. Once I discovered what an incredible thing a wedding is to photograph…from the emotional moments to the lovely details to the incredible story that unfolds throughout the day, I was hooked. I moved back behind the camera, and haven’t looked back.
