I’m Leonard Okpor, a New York City–based wedding and portrait photographer passionate about capturing authentic, timeless moments. Born and raised in Nigeria, my journey into photography is rooted in a deep appreciation for storytelling, culture, and human connection. Although I studied accounting and finance, I chose to pursue my true passion—art and visual storytelling. Today, I specialize in wedding photography, engagement sessions, and portrait photography across NYC and surrounding areas, blending creativity with a documentary-style approach to preserve genuine emotions and unforgettable memories. My work is inspired by real people, real love, and real moments. Whether I’m photographing a wedding in Manhattan, a couple’s engagement in Brooklyn, or creating striking portraits, my goal is always the same: to tell your story in a way that feels natural, elegant, and uniquely yours. Outside of photography, I enjoy playing badminton and board games, which fuel my creativity and help me stay balanced.
