As a wedding photographer, I've spent the better part of the last decade working in the wedding industry. In spite of this, as an avid collector of ephemera, I never stopped dipping my toe (or should I say "pen"?) into the world of calligraphy. In 2016, after many years of working as a spot calligrapher for stationers who commissioned my services, I made the decision to branch out on my own and provide full-service personalized stationery. My style swiftly transitioned from projects that centered on minimalist calligraphy to designs that were whimsical, colorful, and more-is-more in nature. This took place around the same time that I got fascinated with watercolors. Because I get such a kick out of exploring all the different avenues that may be taken with a custom illustration assignment, every work that I do include hundreds of hand-painted components that are meant to be a distinctive representation of the clientele. It is a true work of love on your part! My husband and I have a cat named Bingley, and we make our home in Boston, Massachusetts. Even though my designs are full of color and whimsical elements, I like to dress in dark colors like black, gray, and blue. It is a great pleasure for me that Boston Weddings Magazine and The Improper Bostonian have both recognized me as the best calligrapher in the city. My name is being included in the "Ask the Experts" section of the Boston weddings magazine issue that was published in the spring of 2019. Love comes in many forms, and I honor and support them all.
