Tareka Lofton is a Le Cordon Bleu alumna and award-winning artist. After she finished pastry school in 2013, Tareka began baking cakes from her apartment and Loft22 Cakes was born. Social media followers in Dallas-Fort Worth began praising these cakes. Loft 22 Cakes’ first storefront opened in Historic Near Southside in 2017.
