Lovejack

Lovejack is the artist project of singer, songwriter, and cellist formerly of Streetlight Cadence—the Emmy-nominated (2019) folk-pop band known from the TV show Will Play For Food. Drawing inspiration from the Jack of Hearts, a symbol of romantic sincerity and youthful passion, Lovejack blends classical cello, looped percussion, and dreamy vocals into a unique style of Bridgerton Pop. After leaving Streetlight Cadence, Lovejack redefined his sound—infusing layered cello loops and drum beats with a mix of original songs and inventive covers of modern pop hits. His music combines the warmth of acoustic instrumentation with moody, cinematic textures—crafted for listeners who seek both heart and harmony. At the end of 2025, Lovejack released his second solo album Queen of Hearts, which contains eleven tracks of heartfelt and moody love songs. Queen of Hearts touches on several different genres and feels, all while remaining true to Lovejack's sound and style when performing live and solo. Whether on stage or in the studio, he creates lovely music for lovely people—with passion, precision, and a whole lot of heart.
