Mahaiwe Tent, a family-owned and run business nestled in the heart of the Berkshires, is thrilled to be celebrating its 36th year of serving the tri-state area of Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York. With only a few tents and a handful of plates, Tom Cavanaugh, popularly known as "The Tent Guy," and Lauren Cavanaugh founded this firm in 1986. Mahaiwe Tent has grown to become a premier wedding and event rental company in the Berkshires, Connecticut, and New York since then. Lindsay Cavanaugh, Tom and Lauren's daughter, is the second generation of the Cavanaugh family to work at Mahaiwe Tent and is eager to not only sustain but also grow the business.
