Mallory Joyce is an event planner based in Washington, District of Columbia. WHAT MAKES US WHO WE ARE Mallory Joyce Design is a full-service floral design company that specializes in creating one-of-a-kind weddings with custom details. A high-touch, personalized process that is celebratory, streamlined, and intentional is provided to our clients. The majority of our events are held in the beautiful city of Charlottesville, Virginia, but our work has taken us to California, North Carolina, Washington DC, and Wisconsin as well as other locations. We enjoy learning about our clients' favorite places to visit, and we are honored to create floral arrangements in any location that they direct us to. PROCESS When it comes to aesthetics, there is something incredibly powerful about it. The way candlelight shines, the way a gown is draped, the textures of linens, the delicateness of florals - all of these elements contribute to a crescendo of a story - your story - on your wedding day. We want these moments to protect us, to remind us of our roots, to embrace us, and to point us in the direction of something more meaningful. We yearn to become completely immersed in them, completely enveloped in the intricate dance of color, light, mood, music, and the people we care about. It is a privilege for us to be a part of your special moments with you. In order to begin, we must first hear from you about your vision and expectations for your wedding day. After that, we'll look at the various ways flowers can assist in bringing that vision to life. As your event florist, we will create a visual moodboard for each element, showcasing not only our inspirations and design plans, but also specific flowers, vases, candles, and other details as they relate to your occasion. At your event, our team will deliver your personal flowers, style all floral elements in collaboration with the photographer, and create any installations (which are our favorite!) on the spot.
