Hi! Your visit here to find out more about me, my work, and the things that motivate me is much appreciated. I'm Marisa. A person who was born and raised in the breathtaking state of Arizona. My veins are filled with the desert landscape, and incredible sunsets and summer monsoons are a source of ongoing inspiration for both my photography and me as a photographer. My favorite thing to do in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area is to explore the seemingly endless hiking trails, soak up all the beauty that they have to offer, and then use that beauty to highlight the one thing that is most important in all of my photographs: my COUPLES. What really excites and inspires me is the challenge of capturing the one-of-a-kind love that they have for one another. I LIVE to capture the interactions, inside jokes, and tender moments that take place between people. I spend the majority of my time in Arizona photographing weddings and engagements, but when I'm not doing either of those things, I'm hanging out with my husband of ten years and our two children, Jack and Hazel. Having two young children and running a successful business both add a lot of activity and color to my life, but I wouldn't have it any other way! During the week, you can find me working from one of my many "offices" located throughout the city, such as Berdena's in Old Town, La Grande Orange in Phoenix, or my preferred Starbucks location in the neighborhood. I enjoy getting out of the house and drawing energy from the people and environment around me while I spend the day editing. Typically, I will listen to one of my favorite podcasts or playlists.
