Matt Hill & The Classics is a live jazz and event band serving weddings, corporate events, galas, fundraisers, festivals, and private parties across Pittsburgh, Eastern Ohio, and the Ohio Valley. Here's how it works: the band starts as a jazz trio during cocktails — classy, relaxed, the kind of music that makes your guests feel like they walked into something special. As dinner winds down and the energy shifts, the band grows. More horns, more rhythm, more of the songs that get people out of their seats. By the end of the night you've got a full dance floor and you didn't have to think about any of it. That's what clients tell us matters most — it was easy, it was fun, and their guests wouldn't stop talking about it. The repertoire covers classic jazz, Motown, R&B, swing, funk, and New Orleans brass band music. First dance requests, second line parades, MC duties, and professional sound are all built in.
