About Melody Stein Harpist, LLC
I have been playing the harp professionally for events and weddings for over 15 years. I recently graduated with my doctorate from University of Miami in Harp and I love playing for weddings, birthdays, church services, etc. in the community. With input from the couple, I curate a specialized set list that reflect their personalities and musical vision. My services can include a 20-30 minute prelude, Bridal Party Processional, Family Entrance, Bridal Entrance, Quiet music during the ceremony, Recessional, Cocktail Hour background music, and Reception background music. - Can I work with you to customize a playlist?
- Absolutely! I love picky people! Lets collaborate and come up with something meaningful to you! It doesn't have to be classical, lots of couples request a Bridgerton-feeling music style. I can do that!
- Are you willing to learn new songs that are important to me?
- Yes yes yes! That's my favorite! I love to see your reaction to hearing your favorite music in a new way. I always offer at least one free custom arrangement with each booking.
- How many musicians and vocalists are in your band?
- Normally its just me, but I have lots of musician friends that will add to the musical texture. Harp Duo, or with cello, violin, flute, and more!
- Can I listen to you perform before hiring you?
- As part of the hiring process, I like to bring my harp to our Zoom call. I would love to play for you so you know what to expect from me and what music I already know.
- Will you work with my venue to make setup arrangements?
- Part of my checklist before the event include introducing and coordinating with your team (planner, venue, etc.) I want to share my insurance information ahead of time so the day-of runs as smoothly as possible.
