M. is a sustainable event design business that specializes in local flowers, plants, handmade and vintage props, furniture, lighting, and custom signs and paper items. I plan events all across the bay region from my home just outside of gorgeous San Francisco. I'm an event stylist, so whatever you see at a party is something I enjoy doing. My goal is to create a warm, lovely, effortless environment that talks about you, from delicate paper details to an elegant bridal bouquet to a personalized ceremony framework. While I enjoy making things, I also enjoy consulting on the big picture. This entails assisting you in making the selections that will make your event unique and cohesive, such as selecting beautiful details for your place settings, the appropriate lounge equipment, or the ideal location for your bar. I'm a naturalist who grew up gardening and enjoying the woods in North Carolina. I enjoy gathering strange items from nature and transforming them into attractive objects. My studies continue to affect my work, as I have a BFA in sculpture and a degree in botany. It's a lot of fun to make sculpture and installations out of botanicals, found materials, light, and furnishings to create lovely surroundings.
