From curated menus to thoughtful details, we are with you every step of the way to bring your wedding dreams to life. What do we do?
We do whatever is needed to make a wedding or event come to life just as our clients have hoped, imagined, envisioned and worked to create. We love what we do. We could not imagine doing anything other than crafting celebrations that tantalize the senses and fill the soul. It's our calling + our joy
Who are we?
We are a team of people that love producing weddings + events. We are storytellers, producers, taskmasters, creators, weavers. We are experts in our field. We are perpetual students of life, global citizens, and kindred spirits. We are a team that understands without passion, none of this works 🤩
How many years have you been in business?
We have been in business since 2007 :-)
Do you offer day-of wedding coordination?
We do not, but we do offer month of coordination. This is a more comprehensive service than appearing merely the day before. We give our clients 4 weeks to work with us to tie up all loose ends, create a timeline and ensure a successful and beautiful wedding day. This service is $3,500
What venues have you worked at before?
I love this question! The honest answer is that it doesn't matter! No, seriously - a true event producer and wedding planner has the know how and capability to plan an event anywhere, at any time. From a public park to a historic ballroom and everything in-between!

We are thrilled to introduce Brigit McDonnell as the newest member of the MDE team! A proud alum of Indiana University, Brigit brings valuable industry experience in planning and decor design. Throughout her career, she has orchestrated a range of large-scale luxury events, including corporate functions, social gatherings, and weddings at some of Chicago’s most prestigious venues. Notable projects include a lavish wedding adorned with 20,000 red roses and a creative Harry Potter-themed party.
