Michelle's Patisserie

Michelle's baking interest began in her grandmother's kitchen. Michelle would roll out a ball of dough and cut it with cookie cutters as her grandmother cooked tortillas. Michelle began baking after her mother showed her how to make German Chocolate cake. Michelle graduated with a psychology degree from Smith College in 1998 and moved to San Francisco to bake. She learned California French baking and pastry from Traci des Jardin of Jardiniere. Missing her family, she came to Austin to establish a business baking melt-in-your-mouth cakes. She's currently one of Austin's top wedding cake bakers. Michelle loves people and customizes cakes to each client's concept. She's established a team of cake-loving, quality-focused workers. Michelle's Patisserie has been voted by local brides so often that we're in the Knot Best of Weddings Hall of Fame. Knotties, THANKS! Michelle has competed on Food Network's Big Time Bake and won That Takes The Cake Competition's Best of Tasting twice.
