Mike Benjamin & The Keepers have been performing at weddings, parties, and private events for over 15 years on Martha's Vineyard, Boston, Cape Cod, and beyond. With the energy that only live music can give, we look forward to making your event a success. My band has performed for celebrities, presidents, and individuals from all walks of life. From late-night comedian Seth Meyers to Tom Hanks, Mary Steenburgen, Ted Danson, and, perhaps most importantly, President Bill Clinton's Birthday Party, there has been a lot of celebrity involvement ( check out the video of Bill sitting in with the band on our video page). We have earned the expertise, flexibility, and variety to always have just the right music at just the right time as a band with over 400 events under our belts. My seven-piece band consists of myself on guitar and vocals, a female singer, a two-piece horn section, bass, drums, and keyboards, as well as myself on guitar and vocals Additional singers and musicians are frequently added to the ensemble. Wedding guests are typically multi-generational, and I can confidently guarantee that we have something to offer everybody of any age. It's crucial to get everyone up and dancing! We flow from song to song to keep them on the dance floor once we have them there. Please let me know what songs/bands you enjoy so that we can tailor the music for the evening to your preferences. We're always willing to learn a couple songs for you. We are available for any ceremony or cocktail hour music you may require, and we are experienced in coordinating weddings and events on Martha's Vineyard.
