At the center of who I am are the roles of Wife, Sister, Foster Mom to a dog and cat, Friend, and Photographer. My spirit is nourished when I travel. Yoga keeps me centered. "Annihilators" by Dutch Brothers is musical gold in its purest form. The ideal date night consists of eating tacos and drinking margaritas while listening to live music. My idea of paradise is lying on a beach somewhere in the tropics with the sun shining and my four Weimaraners and one cat piled on top of each other. And I can honestly say that I adore my job. And to tell you the truth, that is the most important fact you must know about me. Know that I will be there for the most amazing day of your life, know that I will always have your back, and know that we will have a great time together regardless of what the future holds for us. Regarding the history of my photography, I first gained experience while standing below a stage and looking upward at the performers. I worked as a concert photojournalist for Valley Hype, KWSS, and the Arizona Republic, where I also contributed articles. I look back on those crazy, music-filled years with a profound sense of gratitude for the opportunities and experiences they afforded me. At some point in time, bands, concerts, and festivals were replaced by romantic relationships, engagements, and weddings. My experience as a photographer covering live music has given me a photojournalistic eye, which I believe helps me capture the essence of your wedding day in a way that other photographers don't. I see your rock star moves, and I challenge you to a photo shoot in a magazine style. My work has been showcased in prominent wedding industry publications such as Wedding Chicks, The Perfect Palette, So This Is Love, Borrowed & Blue, Ultimate Wedding Magazine, and How They Asked, amongst other noteworthy periodicals. Which is a great privilege. But what makes me even more ecstatic is that each of my couples has consistently given me five stars out of five. The experience, the fun, and the incredible results that every #MindyPhoto couple feels when they look back through their photographs are the only things that matter.
