Missy Andersen Band

Missy Andersen, a native of Detroit who now makes her home in San Diego after spending time in Queens, New York, follows her self-titled debut with a classic follow-up of blues that directly affects the spirit and body. She has once more produced a private soundtrack for happy moments as well as the sorrow and thrills of love with her band leader, guitarist, and husband Heine Andersen. Early in her adolescence, Missy started fronting bands and performing at local venues. This swiftly led to background vocal work in studio sessions and live performances. She moved to San Diego, California, where she met Heine, a seasoned musician on vacation from Denmark, and continued perfecting her craft. They finally got married and started the San Diego band Tell Mama. Soon after making the decision to go it alone, they started touring Europe for several years while simultaneously recording the rhythm tracks for their debut CD in Copenhagen in between shows. Even though Missy Andersen only contained two original songs, it earned excellent reviews.
