Modern Floral

Hi all, We appreciate your time and business here at Modern Floral. I don't come out from behind the camera very often because I'm typically designing an installation or fluffing in the hours leading up to your big event. But when I do, it's always worth it. I'm Allison Lyons, and I run Modern Floral. I'm also the company's lead designer. After relocating from New England to southern states in 2017, we got our start. In the beginning, Modern Floral was known as the Salvaged Flower and it was a business that repurposed flowers for nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities. Over time, the company expanded its offerings and became a full-service event floral provider. We are constantly working toward the goal of creating bespoke luxury events that are artistically inspired and entirely unique to you. We enjoy the entire design process, from the tiniest of details to the most extensive installation, and we especially enjoy watching it all come together. (And we continue to try our best to find new uses for flowers whenever we can.) When I'm not tending to my flowers, you can find me and my husband, who teaches mathematics to high school students, working on home improvements together or playing in the yard with our rescued dog. A sailor for his entire life, an athlete, a foodie, and a flower enthusiast, we couldn't imagine him growing up and being in any other place than Charleston.
