I’m Molly! I am a photographer who divides her time between Nashville, Tennessee and Brooklyn, New York. When I realized that the bulk of wedding photography she saw was lacking, she became interested in documenting weddings herself. Too many photographers were missing the beautiful small moments of the day, only capturing what could be deemed “picture perfect,” and as a result, were not communicating the full story of a couple’s love. Weddings are so much more than portraits, as I've learned. Each wedding evokes an ineffable emotion that I can only try to capture via photography. As a result, it is my desire that my work inspires you to feel timeless and whimsical, transporting you to a location you've never visited. Let's approach the day with an open mind, allowing the day to lead us rather than trying to dominate it. You're free to be yourself in that space, and your photographs will undoubtedly reflect that. For engagement shots, I like to keep expectations low in terms of what’s expected of the subjects (hear me out). This allows the couple to relax, converse, and just spend time with each other. There's a lot of anxiety associated with having your photo taken (which I entirely understand), but if you remove the pressure, you'll be fine. When there’s no pressure, you can truly capture the organic moments. I had no notion of the value and honor that my role as a photographer carried when I first embarked on this journey. It's less about me as a photographer and more about the privilege of being a part of peoples’ milestone events... more about the people I serve and the love they share. I'm ready to keep growing on this path, and I'm grateful to everyone who makes it possible.
