Morrice Florist has served the Martha's Vineyard community for nearly 80 years, having been founded in 1940 by James Morrice, the island's first farmer florist. Emily Coulter took over the shop in 2014, changing the look and expanding the shop's products beyond floral creations to include thoughtful presents and home decor. Morrice Florist offers stunning floral arrangements for special occasions and everyday use. Emily grew up on the island and is a native. She discovered her true calling working with flowers after experimenting with a variety of creative outlets. Emily puts her heart and soul into each arrangement she creates, and she wants to create a lively, welcoming environment for the island community to enjoy. Emily spends her time giggling with her two daughters, Madeleine and Eloise, and her wonderful husband Ben when she isn't messing with flowers.
