Nature Rules

Inspired by her drive of creative expression, Jaynie studied Fine Art & New Genres at Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles and loved getting to explore different mediums. Once she graduated and started working for a florist, she quickly realized that flowers were her muse. With so much botanical variation to play with, Jaynie knew she found her calling. Flowers allow her to take inspiration from her client’s personal taste, employ her own skills, and then translate that into visual creations. Celebrating nature in all of its phases and embracing seasonal offerings, Jaynie often utilizes every aspect of a flower. She loves to be inspired within a chosen color pallet to create locally grown arrangements representing the best of what is seasonally available at the moment. Color harmony and composition are often the driving forces of her designs. Whether it be workshops, mentorship, special events or weddings, Jaynie loves the customer relations aspect that owning her own business brings. She takes ownership of the design process, working to craft unique concepts for each and every client. Her love of teaching allows her to share her passion and knowledge with others. Creating Nature Rules truly celebrates all of Jaynie’s passions: human connection, floral seasonality, and sharing her gifts with others.
