Vanessa's journey into the world of baking is a tale as sweet as her creations. Her fondest childhood memories involve being in the kitchen, surrounded by the comforting aroma of sweet treats. While in grad school pursuing an entirely different career, it was here that her curiosity sparked, and her self-taught baking adventure began. And thus, in 2013, she officially turned a baking hobby into a business. The Inspiration Behind Sweet Leches: At the heart of Ohh My Sweetness is Vanessa's most celebrated creation – the Sweet Leches. Inspired by the traditional Latin American cake Tres Leches, Vanessa decided to put her unique twist on it. The result? A heavenly concoction that has become the talk of the town. A decadent cake soaked in a creamy milk blend are the components that make up Sweet Leches. Daily we offer 12 classic flavors and introduce seasonal flavors monthly. From the original to guava or birthday cake and banana nut, we offer a wide variety of yummy combinations that are suitable for all of your [sweet] desires. Sweet leches is a new twist on an old classic. “The vision for Sweet Leches was simple, I wanted to offer a really delicious product not just to locals in my community but ultimately nationwide. I’m a Miamian - born & raised of Cuban decent and this dessert allows me to showcase my roots. The name itself is my way of paying homage to my city - Spanglish it’s a Miami thing.
