Root Photography

Although Jensey was raised in Tennessee and Nate is from South Florida, we now happily dwell in Central Florida. As a husband and wife photographic partnership, we're willing to go wherever the wind of adventure brings us. (That currently includes a large number of US states, the Caribbean, Paris, and Africa!) Although Jensey would like to believe that she was born with a camera in hand and an artistic soul, Nate's passion for photography was what set this insane journey in motion. In January 2006, Nate started Root Photography by documenting the wedding of his college friend. Jensey attended that wedding as a guest and gave Nate support he didn't even realize he needed, from aiding in lens changes to calming him down when his batteries nearly ran out at the conclusion of the reception! Jensey joined Nate for his second wedding, using his extra camera, and the two have worked together ever since. Our dream job is wedding photography, which enables us to spend our days together capturing the joy of beautiful couples in love. Life simply wouldn't be the same without it!
