A desire to be of greater service and a decade-long enthusiasm for working with the gifts of nature—flowers and hands—led to the creation of Rose and Sparrow. In order to create an aesthetic that is more botanically inspired and natural, reminiscent of the surrounding nature, and that fits the location and style of every party, R&S frequently employs seasonal foraged plants and native components obtained during outdoor explorations. R&S combines flowers in all phases of development, occasionally combining dried flowers with fresh stems when it is acceptable for the aesthetic of the event. They do this because they believe that flowers are beautiful in all stages of development, not only when they are at their most beautiful. This wandering bird has traveled all over the country and the world, learning about different places and cultures while bringing a piece of herself with her. She was born in Oklahoma, was raised in Massachusetts, completed her education in Northern California, moved back to the East to New York, went to Germany for university, and then started her floral business in San Francisco. R&S will add a laid-back and natural feel to whichever location you select, whether it be a little bit rural or a little bit urban, helping to create a haven of wonder and awe in which to celebrate your love. R&S is thrilled to travel for your big day because they have a passion for seeing new places and cultures. This creative's heart is fulfilled by designing outside and bringing the outside within, producing large-scale creations that appear to have "grown there."
