RYAN When we are all together at home, there is our neurotic daughter, my husband, and our two dogs. We enjoy doing things like slow dancing in the kitchen, traveling when there isn't a pandemic, and arguing over the rules of board games (anyone play Catan?). I like to think of my family as a lens through which I take my photographs because I am constantly surrounded by their joy and affection. I am loved, and I love with all my might. As a child of military parents, I spent most of my childhood in Germany, where everything seems to be several thousand years old. That is where I learned how to memorialize the fleeting moments that we want to have with us for the rest of our lives, and it is also where I fell in love with history. The people we've met along the way, the places we've been, and the things we've done have all contributed to the person we are today. When people see me with a camera, they automatically assume that I'm taking pictures, but what I'm actually doing is capturing magic in bottles. I need your enchantment, as well as your love and happiness. I want to put everything together and demonstrate to you how stunningly beautiful happiness makes you look. It's just part of my job.
