Salsa Y Control

Salsa y Control is widely regarded as one of the most well-known and respected dance organizations in the greater Boston region. We provide tuition that is of the highest quality and is simple to understand so that you can be out on the dance floor in no time. Everyone, regardless of skill level, will have a good time in our courses, which are held in a warm and inviting setting. In addition, we provide dancers with opportunities to perform, during which they are encouraged to build their self-assurance and realize their full potential. In 1999, Johnny and Andres, two brothers who execute fantastic duets with one-of-a-kind, sophisticated salsa footwork combinations, were the original creators of the dance style known as "Salsa y Control." Later on, Salsa y Control evolved to incorporate partner dance performances featuring Johnny and Felicita. In 2003, the three of them founded "Salsa y Control Dance Company," which is still in operation to this day. Their motivation originated from the aspiration to encourage other people, via the medium of dance, to express their own inner feelings. Under the direction of Andres and Leah, the Salsa y Control Dance Studio in Allston opened its doors for the first time in the year 2008. Today, SyC has developed into one of the most successful and well-known dance organizations in Boston. We have over 80 performance members across numerous dance teams, and we continue to teach lessons in both Allston and Cambridge.
