He started out in the world of gastronomy by enrolling in the Culinary Arts Program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After receiving his diploma in 2015, Nick successfully completed an internship at the prestigious Pinehurst Resort located in North Carolina. His drive and accomplishments were recognized from a distance, which led to his being offered a post at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. Nick's accomplishments were rapidly brought to the attention of many in the surrounding community, and he was swiftly elevated to the position of Executive Chef at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. In 2016, Nick and Sara, who are married, took on their first catering job together. It all started with a couple of enterprising newlyweds, a humble Apple Blossom party, and their own home kitchen! They were able to thrive as a result of the enormous success of that event and began providing catering services for a variety of events, such as weddings, birthday celebrations, and corporate dinners. Because Nick and Sara have been the ideal business partners from the very beginning, it should not come as a surprise that Santmier Catering Company is thriving.
