I'm a wedding photographer in Nashville, and one of my favorite things to do is to share the love stories of real couples. I have a deep appreciation for the events that add meaning to a person's life, and I believe that your wedding should be photographed in an honest manner and with great attention to detail, including both the intimate and unnoticed moments as well as the breathtaking and unforgettable ones. After dabbling in photography in high school and studying professional photography in college, I decided to try my hand at photographing fashion and music, but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was missing something. When I was hired to photograph my first wedding, I had no idea how much I would come to love the art of storytelling or how much it would enrich my life to be a part of the most significant events in another person's life. Since that day, I haven't looked back. Even after officiating at more than one hundred weddings, I still get emotional and giddy whenever I meet a new couple for the first time. Getting to know each other is, in my opinion, the first step toward producing amazing photographs, so I'll go ahead and start the conversation. I was born and raised in Wisconsin, and yes, all the stereotypes about us loving beer and cheese are true. Wisconsinites are known for their love of cheese and beer. My ideal Friday night consists of sipping an Old Fashioned, though I'm not above switching things up with a spiked seltzer when the weather gets warmer. I'm a sucker for a good true crime podcast or any show that makes me cry. I can geek out over musical theater with the best of them. I spent my childhood traveling all over the world with my family, and as a result, I am always ready to hop on a plane and follow your love story wherever it may lead you, whether that be to Branson or Bali. My Enneagram number is 9, which means that one of my superpowers is the ability to tune into minute particulars such as these in relation to you. I absolutely adore being able to watch, observe, and photograph the spontaneous, unplanned, and emotional moments that take place during a wedding. These moments can range from the mist that appears in your father's eyes as he walks you down the aisle to the way that your mother straightens your tie before the ceremony.
