MY NAME IS SARAH GORMLEY, AND I AM INTERESTED IN UNIQUE PHOTOGRAPHS THAT CAPTURE AUTHENTIC, NATURAL BEAUTY. I AM A DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER. DESTINATION WEDDINGS ARE MY SPECIALTY. I specialize in photographing destination weddings and am drawn to images that are original and capture the genuine, natural beauty of the locations. My photography aspires to be truthful and insightful while also being artistic and aesthetically motivating. For me, weddings are a time to stop and appreciate some of the most beautiful simple pleasures that life has to offer, such as friends and family, music and food, dance floors and flowers, and to indulge in all of these things with the ones you care about the most. My art has been published in a variety of publications, including the New York Times, Rangefinder Magazine, A Practical Wedding, and Green Wedding Shoes, as well as Offbeat Bride, Rock 'n Roll Bride, and Green Wedding Shoes. I have taken photographs of interracial couples in love in a variety of locations across the world, including the foothills of the Appalachian highlands, the streets of London, the rice fields of Indonesia, the cliffs of Scotland, and other locales. Ever since I was a small child, I've had a huge passion for photography. The other things that have a special place in my heart are my sweet pitbull rescue, my backyard chickens, ducks, and bees, getting my hands dirty in the dirt, preparing meals with ingredients harvested from the garden, sculpting things out of clay, engaging in mindful and yoga practices, assisting pregnant women and new mothers, going on hikes, and drinking wine with the people I care about.
