I currently work using black and white film with very old cameras. The analog process appeals to me. In a world where things move too quickly to process I want to slow down, feel present, and create something of value. Not because it is quick and certainly not because it’s easy, but because it’s worth finding the value in our lives before they change. I am fascinated with how quickly something that once was is now different. When did that happen? Over a period of time or in the blink of an eye? How can we be more aware of the shifts that surround us? And are they always good?
