You may be wondering, what exactly is a Sassy Diva. To simplify things a little, here's how it works: The adjective SASSY means "spirited, bold, and full of life." It also means "cheeky." A DIVA is a woman who is highly regarded, glamorous, or distinguished. As for me, I'm a freelance writer. This is Diva Sassy, for those of you who aren't familiar with the title. Despite the name, don't be deceived by it! Floral designs and events that are elegant, edgy, and fun are what I specialize in. A small boutique company with its headquarters in Redwood City, California, Sassy Diva Designs and Events was founded in April 2011. With a background in theatre and art, Beth (the Sassy Diva) is passionate about taking on challenging and creative projects. The fact that we are based in Redwood City puts us in close proximity to some of Northern California's most beautiful locations for weddings and special events. In the same way that our clientele is diverse, so are the events that they organize. From lush wineries in Napa and Sonoma to chic and historical properties in San Francisco, we use our experience and creativity to create events that tell the story that our clients want to tell about their businesses and themselves. We bring your event to life through floral arrangements, rental items, and event planning. We recognize that your story is unique, and we look forward to getting to know you and discovering how we can collaborate to make your event beautiful and stress-free. In addition to serving as our fearless leader and founding member, Beth Covey-Snedegar has more than 15 years of experience in the event industry, including working as a florist and wedding coordinator, as well as planning events for her family's PR agency. Planning her younger brother's 5th dinosaur-themed birthday party was the beginning of her passion for event planning. Sassy Diva Designs and Events was established in April of 2011 after she began planning parties and events for her friends and family. She then jumped at the opportunity to work with a successful wedding planner and florist for three years before launching her own company. When she was a child, she would spend time working in a family friend's flower shop while her mother assisted with the preparations for special occasions.
