Saville Flowers

Don Saville, my great grandfather, founded Saville Flowers in 1942 with the goal of providing beautiful flowers to Evanston residents. I am so delighted to be pursuing the same philosophy and carrying our tradition into its fourth generation of family ownership, more than 75 years later in the same location as the day we debuted. My mother taught and nurtured in me the interests that have made our store so successful: engaging customer relations, community involvement, and, eventually, a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of flowers, as I grew up in the shop. Working beside her, flowers were an inextricable part of my personality. I'm ecstatic to have the chance to recognize, rethink, and build on the brand and reputation my family has established in the Chicagoland area. Saville's has a classic European floral design approach with a hint of the extraordinary and one-of-a-kind. Incorporating a lush mix of textural greenery amongst our rare blooms, we attempt to create a feast for the senses in every exquisite arrangement and bouquet that leaves our store. We're up early every morning exploring the flower markets for the freshest blooms to keep our antique cooler filled with a diverse selection of cut stems. Our knowledgeable staff at the shop is always happy to assist you in creating a thoughtful hand tied bouquet or fresh arrangement in one of our distinctive, beautiful vases. We also provide custom home décor pieces, as well as a range of unique greeting card and candle lines, as we are a cornerstone of the Evanston community. My mother had a profound impact on the lives of many of her clients, some of whom she had known for over 35 years as they celebrated life's most important events such as birthdays, funerals, weddings, and anniversaries. We're always delighted to provide a bit of living seasonal beauty to any celebration. I wish to create moments of beauty, elegance, and reflection in enjoying the immense beauty of a flower in our chaotic and overworked lives. That is the meaning and purpose of my life.
