- Will I still have control of my wedding details?
- Of course!! Shh Events is here to help orchestrate all of the details and vendors that you select, after all, it is your wedding! It should absolutely be a reflection of what you and your partner choose. We are wedding planners and guiders- not dictators :)
- Do you travel?
- Heck yea! Shh Events has produced weddings in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan, and while we call Chicago home we are always ready to pack a bag and take your wedding to a place that is perfect for you.
- When should we book our planner?
- Now!!! But seriously, the sooner you book a wedding planner in your process the more you get to utilize our services, especially while reviewing contracts.
- Do you work with LGBTQ+ Clients?
- Without an ounce of hesitation. Love is meant to be celebrated in every shape and form that it takes. Not only do we celebrate our LGBTQ+ clients, but we do our best to continue our education and communication to be an active ally.
- I already Booked most of my vendors - Do you offer discounted rates?
- Shh Events is priced based on the average industry standards between a full service planner and a day of coordinator, and because we fall more closely under the umbrella of a full service planner, you end up with a LOT of bang for your buck. Rates are set regardless of the vendors you have booked.

Owner + Lead PlannerStephanie is the heart behind Shh Events – bringing organization, honesty, and joy to every celebration. After finding her way into the events industry in 2014 (a happy accident!), she built Shh Events with the intention of creating thoughtful, inclusive, and truly meaningful wedding experiences. Combining her love of storytelling, theatre, community, leadership, and a really good celebration, Stephanie has grown Shh Events into one of the Midwest’s leading event planning and production teams,
