Slattery, Dave Celuzza

Slattery's, a working man's tavern founded in 1934, has been located on the city's east side for more than 80 years, just a few streets from Fitchburg State University and the Wallace Ice Arena. Chef/owner Dave Celuzza has overseen its transformation into the full-service hospitality venue and community cornerstone it is now for the past 30 years. We are motivated by a desire to produce great food and service utilizing the freshest ingredients available, which are obtained locally whenever feasible. On your first visit, you may expect to be treated as a "regular," and we hope to have the opportunity to host you. The Front Room Tavern at Our Facility High top tables and stools, three Irish "snugs" that seat a dozen people, and classic cocktail tables surround our big horseshoe bar. It's the ideal neighborhood tavern, with 10 HD flat screens, pool, video games, full lottery services, and over 30 beers on tap. Dining Room Main We can accommodate any size group, from a quiet table for two to complete families, friends, and teams, with seating for 125 and its own full bar and drink area... We welcome large bookings. The Terrace Room is a room with a view of the Just off the main dining room, there is seating for eighty people and French doors that lead to a charming outdoor seating area that may seat up to twenty people depending on the season.
