Founded in 2023
We are doing more than offering a cotton candy spinning service. We are bringing you the Spun Out Experience. Led by the Floss Boss, an ostrich from the World's Fair of 1904, we will put smiles on faces with our healthy fairy floss, oolong tea, and good vibes. We bring an immersive experience packed with history and imagination that will delight you and your guests. Whether we are in our licensed food trailer out front of your event or set up inside with a listening lounge offering tea service, we can tailor our services to meet your needs. We like to get creative so feel free to reach out if you wanna bring a wild idea to life. Spun Out is a project of FLOSS. Public Benefit Corporation. FLOSS. has a mission to provide transformative experiential offerings in a sustainable and responsible manner, in order to create empowering employment opportunities and contribute a third of profits to harm reduction, mental health, a culture of consent, & positive activism for a better tomorrow. - How would you describe your entertaining style?
- We bring a whimsical element to our entertainment story with deep lore revolving around our mascot the Floss Boss. When he came out of the Multiplex in 2024 he redirected the project from selling sugar to providing a meaningful experience. We don't offer a sweet fix, we foster transformative moments
- What is the pricing for your different packages?
- Pricing for our different packages vary depending on the size of the installation. We provide bespoke services to bring you the best experience for your guests. We do have a two hour minimum for fairy floss spinning and additional offerings.
- What is your refund or cancellation policy?
- We can be flexible, but ask that you respect our time. Cancellation within 24 hours of the event isn't cool.
- Will you work with my venue to make setup arrangements?
- Absolutely. We love the opportunity to get creative at venues we have worked in before and new spaces. Every event brings its own vibe that we try to meet and enhance with a splash of pink.
- How many years have you been in business?
- Spun Out was launched on National Cotton Candy Day, 12/7/2023, as a Public Benefit Corporation. Now operating as FLOSS. PBC we celebrated our two-year anniversary with a Scratch Showcase you can find in our videos.
