Wedding Films for Party People Our love for the ocean, the sun, and all of nature's backdrops that host our fondest memories inspired us to create Sun Beat films. While creating a personalized video inspired by Indy surf rock, we want to bring out the joyful and adventurous side of all the couples and brands we get to work with. Britt and Miah Idema, a husband and wife team from San Diego, California, own and manage Sun Beat Films. Our cinematographers work in the commercial and documentary film industries and are available to travel anywhere in the world, providing professional services far beyond the wedding norm. Weddings provide us with an opportunity to meet new people and stretch our creative muscles. We come with a low stress level and the goal of making the best film we can for you on your wedding day. We offer three tiers of packages, which start at $4000. The most basic package, Desperado, includes HD video coverage that will be converted into a 3 to 4 minute highlight reel of your big day. One videographer will be with you for eight hours. From there, you can upgrade to either La Paloma or Pura Vida packages. La Paloma offers everything that Desperado does, plus an additional videographer, a longer highlight reel, and professional audio to capture your ceremony and speeches. Pura Vida offers all of the luxuries of La Paloma, but it’s specifically for destination weddings. Additionally, you can add a Super 8 camera to any package to add an old school flare to your film.
