Samuel Lurie, then 16 years old, was "star-struck" in the year 1999 when he saw another DJ playing at a summer camp dance. This event marked the beginning of the Beantown Sound saga. Samuel, who was completely captivated by the DJ, made an urgent application to work as a DJ assistant. While working as an assistant for other DJs who were older and had more expertise, Samuel contributed to the excitement of gatherings. Throughout this entire process, he was paying close attention to a variety of events, honing his skills as a beat mixer, and absorbing the MC's trade secrets. Slowly but definitely, he began to break free from working for others, and soon he had the foundations of a highly renowned performer, and he formed his own firm called The Beantown Sound. He was able to do this because he was able to work slowly but certainly. Now, after over 20 years of providing entertainment, Samuel and his team have performed at thousands of events throughout the globe, including in all six states of New England, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Israel, and even China. Samuel and his team are proud members of both the American Disc Jockey Association and the National Association of Mobile Entertainers, and they are committed to continuing their education and professional development in an industry that is characterized by rapid technological innovation.
