Our clients plan their own weddings but recognize the need of handing over control on the big day, so they employ our team to bring their vision, ideas, and vendors together on the big day. We work with couples eight weeks prior to the wedding to ensure that no detail is forgotten and to help tie up any loose ends. We supervise and ensure that every detail of the wedding is carried out as planned on the wedding day. In D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, we've planned weddings in private houses, historically significant churches, parks, museums, libraries, art galleries, hotels, botanical gardens, and a variety of other locations. We like to travel and work in new places. We're a strong group of ladies that share a passion for music, food, culture, and, of course, weddings. Project and logistics management, public relations, product development, hotel guest services, event planning, venue management, and catering are among our 9-5 occupations and extra background expertise. We offer day-of wedding coordination for couples who are arranging their own wedding and require a professional team to bring all of their wedding ideas, vendors, and visions together on the big day. Here's what our day-of coordination service includes: Before the Big Day: Beginning 8 weeks before the wedding, phone consultations will be held to go over the arrangements. Provide day-of information and a vendor contact sheet on a planning sheet. Conduct one site visit and lead it. Development and revision of a timeline Review of the contract Two weeks prior to the wedding, a phone consultation is scheduled to confirm and finalize the timeline. Examine the arrangements for the final ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour. Distribution of the timeline to the vendor team Organize the wedding rehearsal. On the wedding day, two coordinators arrive two hours before the wedding ceremony. Vendor setup, deliveries, and installations are all under your control. Coordination of the wedding party, guests, and vendors for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception On the day of the event, provide up to 8 hours of service (additional hours available) Place printed wedding items like programs, escort cards, and signage in strategic locations. Final payments and gratuities to suppliers should be distributed. Personal items should be broken down and secured (additional flat rate)
