The Dainty Lion

The Dainty Lion is a full-service florist specializing in wedding florals, editorials, corporate events, and large-scale events. We are situated in San Diego, however we routinely travel throughout California for weddings and are even available to travel internationally. We bring a new perspective to fine art floral design. Our work is distinguished by our ability to get creative with flower selections, color, and design, with each stem chosen particularly for our clients. Our entire focus at the Dainty Lion is on producing unique arrangements that express your style and individuality via fun yet romantic designs. The ability of floral design to define an ambiance, as well as the challenge of making each wedding really unique to our couples, are two of our favorite aspects of the profession. You can always count on thoughtful, unique arrangements made with high-quality flowers from us. Kimberly, the owner and head florist at The Dainty Lion, has been in the wedding and event sector since 2011 and is recognized for her bold, yet romantic arrangements. The Dainty Lion has been featured in a variety of publications both domestically and internationally. Kimberly may be found enjoying time with her family, gardening, cooking, and renovating/designing her 1960's home in the San Diego countryside when she isn't flowering. Kimberly recently exchanged her passport for motherhood for the time being (her daughter Lucy is worth the momentary break from international adventures!). Kimberly's passion for flowers has been revived as a result of being a mother; she attempts to preserve and nourish her creativity while also demonstrating to Lucy that women can do it all.
