The Gay Agenda Collective

Hi, I'm Zabrina! You can call me Zabs (she/her). I am the owner of The Gay Agenda Collective and a queer Native Hawaiian wedding and event designer. When I was living in Los Angeles, I founded The Gay Agenda Collective. I resided there for almost 7 years before returning to O'ahu, Hawai'i with my business in 2019. I've always enjoyed creating events and am completely infatuated with all things romantic. After I got engaged, I discovered that there weren't many places that fit my very special and beautiful relationship. Certain "traditions" didn't fit my love story, and I wasn't going to accept anything less than the best for my partner and me. The wedding industry has yet to provide the platform for our community to share our love tales. Despite the fact that I was planning my own wedding, I still had to deal with vendors calling my partner and me "the groom," over explaining that this was a queer wedding, being the token lesbian couple for their portfolio, and, worst of all, suppliers refusing to work with us. I decided that enough was enough, and no other couple should have to go through what we did. As a result, The Gay Agenda Collective was established! I want this to be all about love, despite the hate I've received from those who claim I'm always forcing my agenda on them. I believe the LGBTQ+ community has so much to say and demonstrate about what true love is, and I am honored to be a part of it. I've experienced firsthand how difficult it is to plan a wedding. Allow me and my TGA-certified suppliers to serve as your fairy-queer mothers.
