Based in Denver, Colorado and producing events worldwide, The Nouveau Romantics is a creative strategy and event design studio known for turning unconventional spaces and ambitious ideas into events that are as smart as they are stunning. With roots in architecture and nearly two decades of experience, we specialize in building complex events from the ground up—private estate weddings, destination celebrations, high-impact galas, and brand activations alike. Our clients don’t want formula. They want something that hasn’t been done before—and the confidence that it will be done right. Led by founder Elizabeth McKellar, we blend design fluency with operational command, acting as both creative director and strategic partner. For weddings, we approach budgets on a price-per-person model to ensure a fully immersive, high-touch experience. Most of our clients invest between $2,000–$3,000 per guest, depending on location, scope, and complexity. For corporate, nonprofit, and strategic event work, please inquire directly for custom pricing based on goals, timeline, and deliverables.

- What event planning services do you offer?
- Full-service planning, design, and production. We specialize in high-touch events that require strategy, creativity, and seamless execution—from weddings to galas to brand activations.
- Do you offer day-of wedding coordination?
- No. Our work begins well before the event—strategic design and seamless execution require time, collaboration, and vision.
- What event planning packages do you offer?
- We offer three tiers: Full-Service Planning & Design (our most popular) Event Design Only (creative direction with/without on-site production) Event Strategy (consulting + high-level planning guidance) Custom scopes available for corporate and nonprofit events.
- Will you arrange and manage meetings with my other vendors?
- Yes—we manage all communication, coordination, and planning touchpoints with your vendor team. That’s part of what we do best.
- Do I pay vendors directly, or will you handle payment coordination?
- Weddings & Social Events: You contract and pay vendors directly—we facilitate everything and ensure it runs smoothly. Corporate & Nonprofit Events: We offer payment coordination as part of a larger scope. Each vendor cost is still client-approved.
