We encourage all interested clients to contact us via our website contact form. We offer multiple services that can best be seen on our website. We offer estimates for service if contacted directly. Our staff have more than 25 years of bartending experience. We specialize in weddings, but can do any kind of private event. After years of being stuck with mundane corporate menus, only constructing vibrant and lively drinks at home for friends and family, and dreaming of owning my own bar, we decided to start The Parched Poppies. Now we get to serve our favorite type of customer every time we tend bar. We have designed menus for a diverse pool of clients, offering from the classics to tailored, custom drinks. Thanks to my fabulous clients, we are growing as bartenders and as a business every year. - Does The Parched Poppies provide alcohol?
- We are a "dry hire" bar which means that either you, your caterer, or your venue must provide the alcohol. We will work closely with you to put together the perfect drink menu and provide you with an alcohol shopping list based on the details of your event.
- Where are you located? Will you travel?
- We are located in Camino, California, east of Sacramento but we are always willing to travel! Travel within 30 miles of Camino is included. Additional travel welcomed for a small fee.
- Do you carry insurance? What kind of permits will I need for my event?
- We carry general liability insurance, as well as liquor liability insurance. We can provide copies of our insurance policies to your venue upon request. It is your responsibility to secure any permits needed, but typically, if your event is held on private property, you will not need to secure any p
- What are the technical requirements for the bar?
- Our bar requires flat ground for set-up and service and clear access for set-up and break down. If the kegerator is rented, a power source will be required to keep the beer refrigerated.
- What are your booking and payment policies?
- 50% of your invoice total and a signed contract is due at booking in order to secure your date on our calendar. We currently accept payments through our booking system Honeybook.
