The SoCal Standard

I wasn't born with a camera in my hand like the cool kids, but I've always been artistic. When I was younger, I knew I wanted to produce art and make a difference in the world, so I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. I was all in because it was the only "real-paying-job" that allowed for creativity. Haha. Corporate America, on the other hand, does not allow for much originality. But it was one of those amazing experiences that directed me towards my desire. Running ad campaigns for huge corporations like In-N-Out and Coca-Cola for a few months led me into the visual world of social media. The next thing I know, I'm holding a camera in my hand, preparing ad content for several campaigns. Campaigns turned into pictures, portraits turned into couples, and couples resulted into weddings, so I must have been quite successful at it. Needless to say, I loved it all and left my corporate job to pursue photography full-time. That was six years ago, and I haven't looked back since. I'm the ultimate hype girl, the professional show running boss, and the creative photojournalist making magic out of the ordinary. My photos are as adventurous, colorful, carefree, meaningful, a little crazy, and hella bougie as my life. Here are my main goals in every photo shoot: - to make everyone I come into contact with feel like they're a freaking celebrity - to produce pictures that stands the test of time and trends - to immortalize memories that will become family heritage
