Meet Joy. Lover of all things sparkly and a Unicorn-believer, Joy is the creative force behind Stationery Bar. A Manhattan born-and-raised, Long Island based graphic designer and wedding invitation designer, Joy found conventional wedding invitations to be underwhelming and, well, kind of boring. Nothing on the market seemed appropriate for her and her now-husband’s wedding celebration. Utilizing her dreamy brilliance and extensive design experience, Joy created her own save the dates, wedding invitations, bridal shower invites, table cards, programs, menus, and thank you cards. Memorable and bright, friends began to inquire about her unique wedding invitation package. Joy soon found herself designing wedding invitations and the like for friends, and then friends of friends. What began as a personal project blossomed into a beautiful booming business. Closing in on her ten-year anniversary with her juice bar proprietor almost seven-foot-tall babe of a husband, Joy and The Stationery Bar are now one of Long Island’s most sought after boutique design studios intended for the modern and individual bride (and groom).
