The Gullah people of South Carolina are the source of the spiritual and gospel music performed by The Voices of El Shaddai, a group of singers. They have long been a part of the well-known local islander Gullah festivals that take place all year round. The Voices of El Shaddai performances often feature a small group of 6–8 performers, or a large group of 12–15 artists, with a total membership of up to 25 vocalists.
