They Call Me Spindles

My name is Courtney Larsen, aka Spindles, and I am the artist, designer and maker behind They Call Me Spindles. I'm a third generation Arizonan who loves all things desert, including the heat. I have a deep love for creating, and am constantly exploring new mediums and finding different materials to incorporate into my work. I spend my time designing artistic wedding invitations and calligraphy details, working on new paintings and drawings, and creating signage for restaurants and businesses. My sister got married 7 years ago, and I created her invitations and signage as a gift. It was the first time I'd ever attempted anything wedding related, but it clicked immediately that custom wedding pieces could combine my passions of calligraphy and illustration, and I knew I wanted to be a part of that. 5 years later, I love bringing original artwork into each wedding suite I create.
