Combining Jamie’s background in boutique wedding photography with Jason’s experience as a creative photojournalist for newspapers and magazines around the world, we greet your wedding and portrait experience with the same artistic vision that has earned us many awards and accolades. Our style is professional but informal and has been perfected with a chic but contemporary look. We strive to make your photographic session fun so you can be yourself and enjoy the experience. Ultimately, our goal is to craft vibrant, energetic images that are as unique as the people in them, you. Jamie has been awarded Maryland's Wedding Photographer of the Year in 2013 and Maryland Portrait Photographer of the Year in 2013. Turner Photography is a family owned and operated business. Beyond Jamie and Jason, there are more brains behind the beast. Kathryn Turner, Jason's wife, is also a photographer for the studio. Kathryn photographs our baby and children sessions as well as magazine assignments. Cindy Turner, Jamie and Jason's mom, is the bookeeper for the studio. She's a Quickbooks guru. Julie "Turner" Hipkins, not related but wishes she were, is the office manager. She keeps things running smoothly! Last but not least Bodie Turner, son of Jason and Kathryn. He hangs out at the studio and is in training to be the world's next top photographer!
