About Well-Dressed Events

Founded in 2017

Well-Dressed Events is a full-service wedding and event planning studio based in Jersey City, New Jersey, with a second location in Wilmington, North Carolina. We plan intentional, elevated celebrations across New Jersey, New York, and throughout North Carolina, including coastal destinations and estate-level venues statewide. Our work spans weddings, mitzvahs, milestone celebrations, and corporate events. Regardless of scale or location, our focus is the same: thoughtful planning, strong structure, and events that feel seamless for both clients and guests. We offer three full-service planning experiences, designed to meet clients where they are in the process. The Full Edit is comprehensive support from the start. We lead planning, vendor coordination, logistics, and design collaboration so clients can make confident decisions without getting lost in the details. The Select is ideal for clients who want to stay involved early on but need structure, strategy, and a trusted partner as the event approaches. The Capsule, available in New Jersey and New York, is designed for venue-led weddings that benefit from front-loaded planning and a clean handoff to an on-site team. Every client is matched with a dedicated lead planner and supported by our full in-house team. This structure allows for clear communication, faster decision-making, and a planning process that stays organized from start to finish. When it comes to design, we don’t work from preset packages or trends. We help clients articulate their aesthetic, connect with the right creative partners, and shape an environment that feels cohesive, elevated, and intentional. Additional creative support is available for clients who want deeper involvement in visual development and styling. You don’t need to have every detail figured out. You need a team that understands the big picture and knows how to execute it well. That’s where we come in.

    Minimum Spend
    $100,000

    Our minimum spend refers to your total event budget (excluding our fee) and starts at $100,000. That’s the level where we can bring in the right creative partners, vendors, and production support to deliver the kind of experience we’re known for. We charge a flat fee for planning. The Select starts at $12,500. The Full Edit starts at $19,500. The Capsule—offered in NJ and NY for venue-led weddings—starts at $7,500. Final pricing depends on scope, location, guest count, and complexity. Design support is included in every package, but we also offer a $3,500 creative direction add-on for clients who want help shaping the aesthetic, sourcing decor, and building a cohesive visual plan.

What’s the difference between your packages?
All three are full-service planning experiences. The Full Edit is for clients who want us to lead from day one. The Select is for clients who want to stay involved in key areas while we handle structure and execution. The Capsule is for couples getting married at full-service venues.
What’s your planning fee, and how is it structured?
We charge a flat fee for planning, not percentage. The Capsule starts at $7,000, The Select starts at $12,500. The Full Edit starts at $17,750. Final pricing depends on the scope and complexity of your event.
Does the $100K minimum budget include your planning fee?
No. The $100,000 minimum refers to your total event spend with vendors like your venue, catering, florals, rentals, etc. Our planning fee is separate and paid directly to us.
What is the typical budget for your clients?
Most of our clients plan weddings or events with total budgets between $175,000 and $250,000. This allows us to bring in high-quality vendors, creative partners, and production support that align with the elevated experience we’re known for.
Do you offer partial planning or day-of coordination?
Nope and here’s why: we believe your planner should be involved early enough to set your event up for success. Our Select experience offers structured, collaborative planning that still gives you flexibility without sacrificing support.
