Yelibelly Chocolates, based in Dallas/Fort Worth, is an award-winning artisan chocolate manufacturer. Since 2009, we've been creating incredible flavor-infused truffles. About our chocolates: We hand-craft each of our chocolates and flavor-infused ganaches in small amounts using only natural ingredients. Our sustainably sourced chocolate contains no preservatives. Each batch of ganache is made with real cream and butter, and you will notice the difference! We are constantly working to create new tastes. Check back often for fresh ideas, such as beer-infused truffles for St. Patrick's Day, flowery tastes for Valentine's Day, and perhaps something hot and spicy for the summer! About Yeli and Yelibelly's beginnings: Since 1999, Yeli has been learning and performing Middle Eastern Belly Dance. She discovered flavor-infused chocolates she had never seen before when she visited to Italy. She took that inspiration home with her and began creating her own chocolates in 2007. Since then, she's been experimenting with different flavors to lure her friends and family. Friends advised Yeli to consider selling the chocolates in boutiques throughout the metroplex. The chocolates were first sold in a dance studio where Yeli was teaching bellydance. A friend proposed combining her name and her love - dancing – as she searched for a name that genuinely told the narrative about her chocolates. As a result, Yelibelly Chocolates was born. Yeli continues to perform in the Dallas area on occasion.
